This weekend I had the chance to celebrate the wedding of Alex and Royce at the Elks Lodge in Weehawken, New Jersey, and this was definitely a wedding I will remember.
It was a daytime wedding, but you would never know it from the energy on the dance floor. Multiple cultures came together to celebrate Alex and Royce, with family and friends joining them from all over the world.
One of the things I love about doing weddings is that every event is different. This wedding gave me the opportunity to play music that was new to me, especially Afrobeats. I had a lot of fun with it, and judging by the dance floor, so did everyone else!
The music, the different cultures, and the people in the room made this one a unique experience for me. I also got to meet some great people and make a few new friends along the way. I can pretty much guarantee the Elks Lodge in Weehawken has never rocked like that on a Saturday afternoon!
