Friday night, we had the pleasure of celebrating Kayla and Michael’s wedding at the beautiful Black Bear Golf Club.
This wedding was especially meaningful because of how they found us. My son plays college baseball, and one of his teammates, Tyler, has been dating Michael’s sister for years. When Kayla and Michael started planning their wedding over a year ago, Tyler suggested they reach out to DJ Live. We’re grateful he did.
After being together for seven years, Kayla and Michael were more than ready for their big day. We provided the ceremony sound, cocktail hour music, reception entertainment, lighting, and photo booth.
One of the highlights happened during the outdoor ceremony. Out of nowhere, a thunderstorm started moving across the golf course. As the storm approached, the golf course warning alarms began sounding to alert golfers to get off the course. The timing couldn’t have been more unexpected, and it actually got a few laughs from the guests.
With the weather rolling in, the officiant gave everyone a “hurry-up version” of the ceremony. Thankfully, Kayla and Michael were pronounced husband and wife, and everyone made it inside just before the skies opened up.
Once the guests were safely indoors, the party took off. After cocktail hour, the guests entered the dining room and they were ready to party!
