Last night’s wedding at the Nyack Seaport in Nyack, New York, was unforgettable. The venue sits right on the Hudson River and overlooks the Tappan Zee Bridge, offering one of the best waterfront views in the area.
The ceremony took place in the main reception room overlooking the water, followed by a cocktail hour featuring our live pianist, Ronnie, performing on a baby grand piano. Guests later moved downstairs to find the space transformed into a full reception setup with lighting, sound, and live percussion.

Isabella and Jerrime gave us a detailed playlist that included a mix of genres, but also the freedom to read the crowd and keep the energy up. It was the perfect balance of personal music choices and live creativity. I kicked off the night with a high-energy introduction that set the tone for a packed dance floor.
A special moment came during the speeches when I learned that Jerrime’s 93-year-old grandfather, a Purple Heart recipient, was in attendance. Stories like that remind me why I love what I do.
One of the highlights for me was reconnecting with my old friend Tommy, the catering manager. We’ve known each other for years but hadn’t worked together in a long time. It was great to team up again at such a beautiful venue.
If you’re looking for a scenic spot on the Hudson for your wedding, check out the Nyack Seaport and ask for Tommy.
Until next time,
