There are some weddings that feel special from the very first conversation, and Taylor and Daniel’s wedding was definitely one of them.
Taylor and Daniel saw me last summer while DJing a wedding at Tuck’d Away in Tuckahoe. When she reached out, we connected right away! I was truly honored. Being trusted again by couples you meet at another celebration always means a lot.
Their wedding took place at the beautiful Coral House in Baldwin, New York, with about 120 guests. The Coral House is a beautiful lakefront venue.
Taylor and Daniel booked us for the full experience: ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, along with music, live drums, and our photo booth.
Unfortunately, Saturday brought rain, which meant the ceremony had to be moved indoors. While outdoor ceremonies always have their charm, the indoor setup still turned out absolutely beautiful. We provided the ceremony music along with sound and microphone support for the officiant.
After the ceremony, guests made their way downstairs to one of Coral House’s beautiful cocktail hour spaces. Taylor had put together a nice music request list for cocktail hour, and it set the tone nicely.
Once cocktail hour wrapped up, everyone headed upstairs to the main ballroom where the energy really started to build. We had the DJ setup, drums, sound, photo booth, and everything ready to go.
The second I looked out at the crowd, I recognized some familiar faces right away. That is always a good sign. I knew immediately this was going to be a great party.
For this wedding, Taylor and Daniel asked me to create custom mixes for their first dance as well as both parent dances. Each dance was a beautiful moment for the bride and groom, and their families.
Once the formalities were over, the dance floor opened up and never slowed down. The energy started strong and stayed high all night long. Between the packed dance floor, live drums adding that extra excitement, and guests constantly jumping into the photo booth, the room stayed full of life from start to finish.
Rain or not, it turned into an unforgettable night, and I was grateful to be part of it.
