Last night, we had the pleasure of celebrating Andrea and Bobby’s wedding at Woodwinds in Branford, Connecticut.
Andrea and Bobby found me through their wedding planner, Marie Carfora, who knew of me through the wedding industry. It is always great when another professional in the business recommends DJ Live to one of their couples.
We were there from beginning to end, providing music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.
Once we moved inside the ballroom, we had the full DJ Live setup with sound, lighting, live percussion, and our big light-up THE PARTY STARTS NOW sign. The bridal party carried the sign into the ballroom during introductions, which was a great way to kick off the reception and let everyone know exactly what was coming.
This was a buffet-style wedding, and dinner was ready to go as soon as the reception started. Once the buffet wrapped up, there was no wasting any time. We went right into dancing and had a full three hours and 15 minutes ahead of us.
That is a long dance set, but Andrea, Bobby, and their guests were ready for it. Friends and family packed the dance floor and stayed with us all night long, which made the night fly by.
