Last night, June 28th, I had the pleasure of celebrating Sarah and Adam’s wedding at the incredible Rustic Ridge View Farm in Kerhonkson, New York.
Sarah and Adam were referred to me by another amazing couple, a family member who’s wedding is still coming up later this year. They were at the wedding last night, dancing all night long, which is a great sign because this wedding was not only fun, but it makes me even more excited for the next family celebration!
This was definitely not your typical catering hall wedding. Sarah and Adam put so much thought into every detail and created an experience that was completely their own.
The day kicked off with “Game Hour” at 3 PM, where guests arrived to a gorgeous green field setting on top of a mountain overlooking the Hudson Valley. Lawn games were set up all around—bocce, Kan Jam, frisbee, you name it. We had music going, and the groom even jumped on the mic to welcome everyone and encourage them to mingle and introduce themselves to new faces.
After Game Hour, guests made their way to the ceremony area. It was a stunning setup with chairs arranged beneath a beautiful chuppah, and yes—it was on a farm, so there was actually a horse grazing in the distance during the ceremony.
From there, guests moved to a third area tented for cocktail hour. We kept the vibe going with music curated from all of Sarah and Adam’s requests, setting the perfect tone for the evening.
When it was time for the reception, everyone headed down into the main pavilion, where we had our full setup with sound, drums, and our fantastic saxophone player. The energy was already through the roof when we announced the bride and groom, who made their grand entrance arriving on a golf cart to “Signed, Sealed, Delivered.”
Their first dance was beautifully choreographed, and they absolutely nailed it. Right after, we launched into the traditional Horah and kept the energy high with a non-stop dance set. It was a hot summer night, but that didn’t stop anyone from partying hard on the dance floor. We even lifted the bride and groom in chairs, and our sax player kept the music soaring throughout the evening.
We played every song Sarah and Adam requested, and their guests stayed hyped from start to finish.
