Friday night’s wedding at Bridgewater Manor in Bridgewater, New Jersey, was a party from start to finish. The venue, known for its elegant ballrooms and top-tier service, was the perfect backdrop for Emily and Thomas’ celebration.
Emily and Thomas were referred to me by a couple whose wedding I did five years ago. It’s always a great feeling when past clients recommend DJ Live. Even better, I got to see them again as guests on the dance floor.
This crowd brought incredible energy. The mix of Irish and Spanish families made for a fun blend of cultures and music. We played Spanish classics that had everyone singing along. Being from the Jersey area, the party naturally took on a Jersey Shore vibe, with plenty of house and club tracks keeping the floor packed all night.
One of the highlights of the night was the T-shirt toss. Instead of a traditional bouquet toss, Emily and Thomas surprised everyone with T-shirts flying across the dance floor. It was an absolute hit. We even dropped a soundbite from the Jersey Shore reality show to hype it up. The crowd went wild.
Guests stayed until the very last song. Emily and Thomas’ friends and family were fantastic, and the energy never dipped once. The venue staff and food were excellent, making it an all-around perfect night.
DJ Live provided music for the ceremony and reception, along with sound and lighting for the full experience.
