Friday night felt like a reunion in the best possible way. I was back at Mansion on Broadway in White Plains for the Unlimited Care holiday party, hosted by Nikki, whose family I’ve known for years. I first met her at her daughter’s wedding, and ever since then she’s brought us in to help her celebrate the holidays with her company. It’s become one of those events I genuinely look forward to.
Unlimited Care is a team that treats each other like family, and you can feel it the moment you walk into the room. They provide in-home specialized care, and the warmth they bring to their work shows up in the way they laugh, dance, and celebrate together. It creates an energy that fills the room before the music even starts.
We set up lighting, sound, percussion, and a full photo booth, and from the first song the night had that spark you only get when people truly enjoy being together. Since I spend most of my weekends doing weddings, corporate parties like this shake up the rhythm a bit. In many ways, the flow is the same, just without a couple at the center. But this group didn’t need a bride and groom to light up the dance floor!
One of the unexpected highlights was the Hora. It’s not something I get to do often at company parties, but they requested it, and the room absolutely erupted. Seeing coworkers link arms and celebrate was so fun to see!
And of course, working with Mike, the owner of Mansion on Broadway, made the night even smoother. He’s the kind of host who treats every event like it matters, and it shows. If you’re planning a wedding, a sweet 16, a quinceañera, or a company holiday party, he’s the person you want in your corner. The food is outstanding, the ambiance warm and elegant, and the service consistently top-notch.
Another great night with a great group. I’m already looking forward to next year!
